Who We Are

    The 2008 Conference on Refugee Warehousing is being organized by the FORGEPitt (the Pittsburgh branch of the non-profit organization FORGE--Facilitating Opportunities for Refugee Growth and Empowerment) with help from the Global Studies Department at the University of Pittsburgh and the Anti-Warehousing Campaign of USCRI (U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants).  Our partners include Keep It Real, the Pittsburgh Refugee Center, STAND in Pittsburgh, Amnesty International in Pittsburgh, the Project to End Human Trafficking, the Humanitarian and Environmental Alliance, Africana Studies at the University of Pittsburgh, the Women's Studies Department at the University of Pittsburgh, and CERIS (Consortium for Educational Resources on Islamic Studies).
